Complete Guide To CityVille Franchises

I know, I’m a bit late with this guide for the CityVille franchises, but it’s better to have it later than never, especially for the newer players of this amazing game. So prepare to find out in this article everything you need to know about franchises in CityVille!

What are these CityVille franchises?
A franchise in the game is a brand new idea in social gaming: you can open up your own businesses in your neighbors’ cities. Both you and your neighbor will have benefits afterwards!

How to start a franchise in CityVille?
First of all, you need to visit one neighbor that still has an empty land lot ready for franchising. It looks like this:

If you find it (some people might have all lots built on already), click it and a list of businesses you can build there will appear – depending on your level and goals completed, it will have more or less buildings. After selecting the business you prefer (usually the high level ones are better since they generate more income), your neighbor must accept it and only then you will both start taking advantage of it.

Every time a neighbor accepts your business you will see these two icons icon come up on your screen:

Clinking on the top icon will bring up the Headquarters screen, where you can supply your business (by clicking on the supply button) and collect the daily bonus, as well as earnings from each shop. You can get to this menu by clicking the franchise building on your CityVille map:

Can you have more than one Franchise?
Yes, you can have multiple franchises, but there is a limit of Franchise HQ you can have and it is based on your level as I have already told you (however, this does not mean that you can’t have one business in each of your neighbors’ cities).

How many empty land lots can you have?
According to Zynga, we can have one lot per neighbor, which means that if we have 30 neighbors, we can have 30 land lots with neighbor businesses there. Also, it appears that a neighbor is not allowed to open two franchises in our city (although this was not tested yet).
