Hello, Mayors! Over the weekend, Zynga has made a very interesting change to how the entire process of visiting neighbors works out: things can now become a lot more simpler for us to actually tell neighbors where to help us, making the entire visiting process more of a win-win situation. I am sure that you are curious to find out everything about the new neighbor visits in CityVille and the new Get Help Icon (the Heart Icon), so I’ve decided to share with you this guide!
Basically, the new neighbor visiting feature brings in a new hearts system that allows you to mark the places you want your neighbors to tend when visiting. The amount of hearts you have (your heart inventory) is tied to your Reputation Level, so it’s vital to visit as many neighbors yourself in order to be able to get the most out of this new feature.
In order to “mark” items that you want tended, you should click the new “Get Help” icon in the game:
You can then mark basically anything that can be tended in your city (crops, businesses, houses etc) and your neighbors should know that you want those tended first.
The smart thing comes from the fact that if a neighbor tends the marked item or even if you tend it at any point, the marking hearts will get back to your inventory and you can reuse them. And don’t worry if you will no longer see the hearts after closing the Get Help menu – they are still there and you can see them again by reopening the menu.
Even nicer is the fact that Zynga will automatically place two neighbors who have requested help (market items with hearts) in the neighbor bar below, no matter what their current level is, while the rest will be in the regular order:
Helping a friend with an item they’ve marked with a heart results in a boost to the payout so take advantage of this great new feature ASAP!
